Cashmere is a natural fiber that needs special care in order to preserve its signature softness.
Please find below some instructions to better take care of your cashmere garmets.
Cashmere can be washed
in the washing machine but some caution is needed.
- wash on a wool program at 30°c / 86°f at 600rpm
- to mantain the sofness of the cashmere garments usa a wool detergent
- wash a maximum of three garments of similar color per cycle in separate bags (or pillowcases)
To better dry cashmere
it is better to avoid hanging the garment to dry.
Dry it lying flat on a towel as it prervents the garment from stretching out.
All natural fibers pil
Different knit stitches and different colors pil in different ways. The pilling will lessen after time but you can take care of it by removing exess pilling by using a cashmere comb.
Iron at a low temperature
using a thin cloth between the iron and the cashmere garment
Store the garment
folded in a drawer or on a shelf.
If you hang it on a hanger it will lose its shape.
